TRIP To Work: Why Not Denver?
We get asked this question frequently so will periodically repost this blog entry:
The one request about the program we often hear is from people who work in Denver and wonder why they are not eligible to be part of the TRIP To Work program. The City of Denver is currently evaluating the program and we will post more information here should they decide to join. If you live or work in the City of Denver and would like to let your Council Member know about the TRIP To Work program, you can find contact information for them here. You can find contact information for the Denver Mayor's office here.

TRIP To Work: Your Survey Comments
I LOVE taking Light Rail and staying off of I-25!! I-25 is such a nightmare. I can read my book or just relax when I'm on the train. Plus, I get my workout by walking to work (I work in the DTC area and get on the Light Rail at University of Denver and get off at the Orchard stop.) I have just one "slightly" negative comment and that is I wish some of the Light Rail patrons would keep their feet OFF the seats. THANK YOU LIGHT RAIL! :) - AW
This is a phenomenal program that I truly appreciate. The Light Rail is a blessing, especially considering the cost of petroleum as well as the environmental effect. So often, while riding the rail, I see a single person in an SUV in slow moving traffic on I-25. I arrive home via Light Rail before most of my colleagues who drive their private vehicles to work. Having this program makes using the light rail a true no brainer. Thanks. - SD
last month I qualified for the discount RTD pass. It was a true blessing and am once again grateful for the discount again this month! Every little bit helps since if I was driving my own vehicle it would cost a minimum of $500 per month with the recent gas prices. THANK YOU RTD :) - CF
There are also a lot of comments and suggestions regarding more trains, call-n-Ride and busses, scheduling suggestions and request for more trash cans and quiet a few riders who expressed frustration at people who put their feet on the chairs! Again, please know that your comments are appreciated and carefully reviewed and we look forward to hearing from you. You can make additional comments via email or by calling us at 877-975-TRIP.
