Greenwood Village Chamber information on Traffic and Closures due to DNC Event Tonight
for today's event at Invesco Field as well as parking and shuttle information.
The most important things to know are that the I-25 closure slated for 5:30pm will commence around 2:30 as it takes 3 hours to shut it down. Also, there is no parking at Invesco Field lots. Private lots around the stadium are open but average $80.
If you are attending the Invesco event, about the only thing you can take inside is a camera without an extended lens. Food and drink are prohibited as are umbrellas, etc. This is a National Security Special Event and screening will be thorough with zero tolerance. In addition to items of concern, please guard your words carefully as any statements will be taken very seriously also with zero tolerance. Allow plenty of time for the screening process.
Please log on to www.gvchamber.com/DNCTrafficTip.html for all of the parking info, RTD shuttle information, and protest closures.
Please feel free to pass this along to friends, family, customers, and clients to help their day travel more smoothly.
If you are attending the event at Invesco, enjoy! You will literally be part of a true milestone in this great nation's history!
To Your Success (and easy travels),
